About the Company

We are a Dutch edtech scale-up on a mission to provide tutoring lessons that inspire students and unlock potential. Through our platform, we match students with vetted tutors, offering flexible and affordable packages. We do that in the Netherlands (Bijles Aan Huis), and in Germany (Lernigo).

We’re a passionate team of 25 people who have already helped over 15,000 students, and we’re just getting started. Right now, we’re looking for a driven and thoughtful new colleague to take our tutor quality to the next level. With the right guidance and coaching, we believe our tutors can have an even greater impact on the lives of their students, and you could be the one to help make that happen.

What you’ll do:

As our Tutor Quality Analyst, you are the go-to person for anything related to tutor quality in the Netherlands. You’ll serve as a coach, trainer, and quality guardrail—supporting our tutors to improve, grow, and shine in their roles. Internally, you’re the expert we rely on to make sure our tutor standards remain excellent.

Here’s how your time will be spent:

  • Interviewing potential new tutors (30%-) – You’ll assess applications, run interviews, and ensure only high-quality candidates join our platform.
  • Reviewing introductions and giving feedback (30%)- After a student-tutor introduction, you’ll evaluate the interaction and provide specific, helpful tips to tutors on how to improve.
  • Monitoring pre-purchase chat conversations (15%) – You’ll check how tutors communicate before a package is bought and give advice to optimize tone, clarity, and responsiveness.
  • Ensuring timely tutor replies (10%) –If tutors are slow to respond or inactive, you’ll step in, follow up, and address the issue.
  • Investigating cancellations or red flags (10%) –You’ll look into package cancellations and detect any signs of “platform undermining” (e.g., moving students off-platform).
  • Improving tutor materials (5%)-You’ll help develop or revise training and support content so tutors are always equipped to deliver their best.

You’ll follow a structured daily checklist and work closely with the support team while owning your own domain. Daily interactions with tutors, giving feedback, and refining training materials will be your norm.

Compensation and potential:

By joining SchoolTalent, you’ll enjoy:

Base salary (60%) – – work from wherever you feel most productive (within 2 hours of CET). We work on CET time and encourage availability for overlap.

Performance-based bonus (40%) – – Earn more based on the results of your work. Your bonus is tied to key outcomes such as:

  • The percentage of introductions that convert to packages
  • The number of high-quality tutors successfully onboarded
  • Reduction in package cancellations and suspicious behavior

Who We’re Looking For

You’re not just a coach—you’re someone tutors trust, respect, and learn from. Ideally, you bring the following:

  • Fluent/native Dutch speaker
  • Credible and confident –You have a natural sense of authority and know how to give feedback that people actually take to heart.
  • Relevant background –You have experience in education, coaching, or quality analysis (or a strong affinity for it).
  • Empathetic and socially driven – You enjoy working with people, value honesty, and love helping others grow.
  • Clear-headed and structured –You can zoom out to see patterns, but also act fast when something’s off.
  • Always learning – You’re curious, open to feedback, and driven to get better every day.
